What starts as a quiet film about a pair of odd couple roommates quickly spirals into a bleak and blood-soaked dark comedy about the death of the American dream.

At the Haunted Forest, death sells. The Haunted Forest is a 2026 horror-slasher whodunit set inside a real haunted attraction. Following scare actor Zach as haunt workers are picked off one by one, the film excels in atmosphere and production value. While scares are limited, strong performances and an authentic Halloween vibe make this indie horror worth a look.
