Screams by Night: Halfway to Halloween Con is South Dakota's premier horror and Halloween convention, bringing together fans of all things spooky for a celebration of horror, pop culture, and the countdown to Halloween. Created by the teams behind Screams from the Basement and Comics by Night, the convention debuted in 2025 to give horror fans across the Midwest a dedicated event to gather, celebrate, and connect. Since its inaugural year, the convention has welcomed legendary horror icons and cult film favorites including Mark Torgl, Brinke Stevens, Michelle Bauer, Doug Murano, and Mark Donovan with even more unforgettable guests joining the lineup each year.
